Mike Harper- Head Softball Coach

Coach Mike Harper is currently in his 15th year as the Head Softball coach at Rogers High School. Coach Harper spent one year as the assistant coach under Wendy Aldridge at Rogers High School.

Under his direction Rogers has won one 5-A State Championship. That championship occured in the spring of 2000. In 1999 Rogers was the 5-A State ruunner-up. Additionally, his teams won conference championships in the years 1999-2004. Coach Harper has a winning percentage of .650 in 11 seasons with the Lady Mounties. His teams have made the state tournament: 1999, 2000, 2001, 20002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, and 2011

2000 Amy Epperson (Center Field) Participated in the Senior All-State game.

2000 Christina Gliedt (Pitcher) Also Christina was named Gatorade Player of the Year for the State of Arkansas.

Several of Coach Harper's players have received scholarships and went on to play college softball. They include Brooke Boatman (pitcher), Brittany Boatman (catcher), and Carrie Bowen (shortstop) all of whom went on to play at UCA. Regan Brown (third baseman) played at University of the Ozarks. Christina Gliedt (pitcher) played for Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Courtney Orr (pitcher) signed with Ottowa University in Kansas City out of high school and is currently playing for Arkansas Tech University. Lucy Galloway (catcher) a 2004 graduate played for Missouri Southern in Joplin Missouri in 2005.Angie Chambers a 2005 graduate is played four years for York College in Nebraska before graduating. In 2006 Hannah Cicioni earned a scholarship to the University of Arkansas. 2007 graduate Hannah Becton signed and played with Crowley's Ridge Community College as a pitcher.

The most recent players to sign were 2009 graduates Ashley Brown (center-fielder) and Katie Walker (pitcher) who both went on to play at Carl Albert Jr. College in Poteau, Oklahoma. In 2009 Brown was named to the 7-A All-State team and played in the Sr. A-Star game at Bogle Park on the campus of the University of Arkansas Walker was selected to be All-Conference. Currently, Kelsey Goodman is playing for Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas.

Ronny Cowan- Assistant Coach

This is Coach Cowan's 7th season as assistant coach for the Lady Mounties. He came to Rogers after successful seasons a the Head Basketball and Volleyball Coach at Cassville High School in Cassville, Missouri. Coach Cowan primarily works with the infield and is in charge of the Junior Varsity team at Rogers.
